Terms and conditions
These terms govern access to RSFly, use of Free, Supporter, and Plus features, online payments, and subscription management.

RSFly is a web platform for paragliding pilots that lets users create an account, upload IGC files, organize a logbook, view 3D replays, consult flight statistics, analyze thermals, and access Plus features according to the active plan.
The service provides technical analysis and post-flight informational tools. It is not a safety, navigation, certified or operational meteorology, training, aviation consulting, sports-validation, or in-flight decision-support service. It does not replace the pilot's judgment, official weather bulletins, or any clearance or authorization required by applicable rules.
The user must provide accurate information, protect credentials, use RSFly lawfully, and upload only files, images, texts, or data they have the right to use. Unauthorized access, systematic scraping, reverse engineering for competing services, attempts to bypass technical limits, and use that damages the platform or other users are prohibited.
By uploading an IGC file or other content, the user represents that they have title, authorization, or another lawful basis to process and share those data with RSFly and accepts responsibility for any third-party data, competition metadata, or non-owned information included in the file.
Uploaded content remains owned by the user or the respective rights holders. The user grants RSFly a non-exclusive, limited license functional to hosting, saving, reading, analyzing, displaying, securing, and maintaining the service.
Protected raw IGC archive storage is optional for normal uploads and requires a separate opt-in, unless files are provided under documented partner or club authorization. Archive storage is private, records provenance and audit evidence, and does not make raw IGC files public.
Paid plans are recurring digital subscriptions. The applicable price is the one shown on the pricing page before the order.
Voluntary one-time contributions, when enabled, are separate from subscriptions and do not renew automatically. A confirmed Stripe contribution grants the supporter the individual 60-day Plus benefit stated in the relevant flow; this benefit remains separate from any Plus Community unlock described below.
Stripe handles cards and payment methods available in the hosted checkout. The Stripe portal, when active, lets users manage payment method, invoices, renewal, and cancellation.
When the Plus Community programme is enabled, RSFly sets a target of €150 for each calendar month. The period follows the Europe/Rome time zone. Once the target is reached, Plus Community features are made available to all authenticated accounts, whether existing or created later, until the end of that same month.
Only reconciled and confirmed EUR amounts count towards the target: the net amount actually credited by Stripe, after provider fees, from Plus payments and voluntary one-time contributions, plus an automatic and disclosed founder commitment of €30 for the month. Pending, failed, unreconciled, or non-EUR payments do not count.
The public counter is capped at the target and rounded down to multiples of €5. It does not show the number of payers, individual amounts, or a per-user breakdown; the €30 founder commitment remains disclosed separately.
The total does not carry over to the following month. Refunds, reversals, and disputes attributable to a payment reduce the total for the payment's original month before the threshold is reached. Once the threshold has been reached, access remains active until the end of the month even if the total later falls, unless the programme is suspended for technical, security, legal, or anti-abuse reasons.
The Plus Community unlock does not suspend checkout or renewals, does not extend or replace a paid subscription period, and does not create automatic credits or refunds. Subscriptions continue on the selected terms until cancelled. While the unlock is active, starting any Plus trial is suspended without consuming eligibility; after the unlock, a trial may become available again only if it remains enabled and the account still meets the applicable requirements.
During checkout, the user requests immediate activation of the digital service. For Stripe, access is updated only after confirmation through a payment or subscription webhook; the success page alone is not sufficient.
RSFly may modify, suspend, or limit beta, experimental, or not-yet-stable features. Experimental predictive modules remain separate until they are technically ready.
The user may cancel the subscription from the Stripe portal when available or by contacting RSFly. Cancellation stops future renewals; access remains available until the end of the already-paid period, unless the terms are violated.

The Plus Community unlock does not change the ordinary policy: it does not automatically create refunds, credits, or compensation for subscriptions, renewals, or contributions already paid, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights and cases reviewed under the published policy.
RSFly works on data provided by users and external technical components. Analyses may be incomplete, incorrect, or affected by invalid IGC files, inaccurate sensors, connection, browser, maintenance, or infrastructure changes. The pilot remains solely responsible for flight decisions, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational use of the information.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the following paragraph, RSFly's aggregate liability to the user for any matter connected to the service is limited to the fees actually paid by the user in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law: in particular liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence (Art. 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), for death or personal injury, and the mandatory rights granted to consumer users by the Italian Consumer Code. The limitations above do not apply to those cases.
Except for mandatory consumer rules that may apply, these terms are governed by Italian law.
For consumer users, the mandatory forum of the consumer's place of residence or elected domicile applies. For non-consumer users, the courts of Rome have exclusive jurisdiction.
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy and Cookie Policy. RSFly may update these terms for technical, legal, or commercial developments; the updated version will be published on the site with its effective date. The legally binding version of these terms is the Italian one.
